Camden Eco-House

If you want to see what it is possible to do to your home to improve its energy efficiency, then a good place to start is the website of the Sustainable Energy Academy.

This organisation is a charity with a voluntary board of trustees who are currently running a programme called Old Home Superhome. This project promotes outstandingly energy efficient homes around the country, by making them accessible to other home owners to show them just what can be done with the time, money and effort.

I plan to take a tour of house in Camden which is open
for drop-in visitors every Sunday 2 - 5 pm from Jul 6 to October 12. Guided tours (by volunteers) take about 30 minutes and aim to show how an old Victorian home in a conservation zone can have 80% lopped off its carbon emissions.
